While Kirby’s day is filled with mice and knocking down wasp nests, my day looked a little different—coffee and crepes with a friend. ☕🥰

One of the things we hope to do well in our business has very little to do with bugs.

We want to see people.

We want our customers to feel heard and valued, and not just be another stop on our schedule.

Because somewhere along the way, genuine connection became a little harder to find. And we think it’s something worth bringing back.

The Karnes Krew took the day off for some family time at Lake Olathe today! ☀️

Who has been there?! Such a FUN day! 🤩

One of the perks of being a family-owned business? We can take our office with us! While we were enjoying some sunshine and making memories, Kirby was still answering calls, scheduling appointments, and getting ready to help customers this week.

Tomorrow, he’ll be back out helping keep homes and businesses pest-free and catching up with both new and familiar faces!

In the 90s, if you wanted to order a pizza, you’d pick up the phone and call. You’d chat with the person taking your order, tell them, “We’re the white house with the blue shutters,” and look forward to seeing them when they arrived.

Today?

We order through an app.
We log into an account we’ve probably forgotten the password to.
We spend five minutes resetting it.
And eventually, a pizza quietly appears on our doorstep.

Convenient? Absolutely.

But somewhere along the way, we’ve lost a little bit of the connection.

If you have, then you know just how much damage these tiny pests can cause before they’re even discovered.

I stopped by one of Kirby’s termite jobs the other day and caught him in action! It’s always a good reminder that termites don’t take days off, and neither do we when it comes to protecting your home.

🇺🇸 Giving Back to Those Who Served 🇺🇸

This morning, we had the honor of providing a free pest control service to a local veteran and his family.

As a family-owned business, we believe in giving back whenever we can, and serving those who have served our country is one small way we can say thank you for their sacrifice, dedication, and commitment.

We are excited to introduce you to this incredible veteran and his family. Brandon Lovingier is a retired Army Master Sergeant who served for over 20 years. He says he’s most proud of seeing the amazing growth and accomplishments of all the men and women he served with and had the privilege of leading over the years.

Thank you to all of our veterans and active-duty military members. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of you. ❤️🤍💙
