Sometimes the best compliment we get is silence.

Not a call two springs later about pavers that shifted. Not a text about a retaining wall that is starting to lean. Not an email asking if we can come back out and look at something.

Just a patio that's still level. A fire feature people still gather around. A space that works the way it did the day we pulled out of the driveway.

That's what doing it right the first time actually looks like! Nothing goes wrong, so there's nothing to say.
