Want healthier plants without wasting water?

Drip irrigation delivers water right where it matters most—the roots.

By applying water slowly and precisely, drip irrigation helps reduce evaporation and runoff while keeping plants consistently watered. That means less water waste, fewer w**ds, healthier plants, and less time spent watering by hand.

Whether you’re watering flower beds, shrubs, raised gardens, or vegetables, you can build a system that fits your landscape. Add a timer, and your watering can run automatically.

From complete drip irrigation kits to tubing, emitters, filters, pressure regulators, fittings, and more, Sprinkler Warehouse has everything you need to get started.

If you’ve ever opened an irrigation controller and wondered what all those wires are for, this video breaks it down. We explain the most common sprinkler controller wires and terminals, what they control, and how they work together to operate your irrigation system.

While we’re using a Toro RXC irrigation controller as our example, these wiring concepts apply to many common sprinkler controllers. Terminal labels and features can vary by manufacturer and model, so always check the documentation for your specific controller.

Whether you’re troubleshooting a sprinkler system, replacing an irrigation controller, adding a sensor, or simply trying to understand that mess of wires inside the controller, knowing what each terminal does can make the job a lot easier.

Liquid vs. Granular Fertilizer: Which One Should You Use?

The short answer: it depends.

Liquid fertilizer delivers a fast green-up, with visible results in just a few days, but it doesn’t last as long. It’s mixed with water and can be applied with a pump sprayer, a hose-end applicator, or even through your irrigation system using water-soluble fertilizer.

Granular fertilizer takes a little more patience, but it keeps your lawn fed for 6–8 weeks. Just make sure you’re applying it evenly—an improperly calibrated spreader can leave streaks across your lawn.

Both have their place. It all comes down to whether you’re looking for quick results or long-lasting feeding.
