The Iowa Tribe’s Housing Authority is providing leading edge sustainable Housing in their community; 3-d concrete printed houses. Slaggie Architects, Inc. is the Architect assigned to assist the Authority and Nuweh, LLC in this endeavor to provide affordable and sustainable housing.

Located on the tribe’s property outside of Rulo, Nebraska, this 14- unit housing project will be comprised of single-family homes; constructed in large part utilizing a 3-d concrete printing technology while still affording its residents all of the comforts of home in a sustainable, welcoming environment.

Additionally, this technology allows a shortened construction schedule compared to traditional construction methods, extraordinary insulating properties, affordable operating costs, and a solid structure to withstand all that mother nature may bear.

SAI is pleased to be part of this exciting journey in improving the lives of the Iowa Tribe.

Another exciting project now operating in south Kansas City.

Slaggie Architects partnered with Centric on the new Porsche Service Center at 13881 Madison Avenue, a 20,000 SF facility designed to elevate both the customer and technician experience.

The project features 14 state-of-the-art service bays, an indoor drive-up service reception, customer lounge with café and full view into the service area, retail accessories showroom, and dedicated locker and breakroom facilities for the service team.

Thoughtful, high-performance spaces built for both functionality and experience.

A great addition to the Olathe dining scene is officially open!

Slaggie Architects is proud to have partnered on the new Third Street Social, now open at 139 S. Kansas Ave. This 8,000 SF space was designed to create a warm, elevated experience with a range of seating options for everything from casual visits to private events.

Key features include a barrel vault ceiling, raised skylight, full bar, and multiple private dining areas.

Great collaboration with Goebel-Mitts Construction in bringing this project to life, and a special nod to Phil Dougherty, who led the architectural efforts on this one.

Elevating the dealership experience in Merriam, KS, SAI partnered with Aristocrat Motors to reimagine their campus.
The project introduced Kansas City’s first stand-alone Porsche facility and expanded the Jaguar and Land Rover showrooms.
From refined customer lounges to enhanced service and showroom space, every detail reflects the performance, luxury, and legacy of these iconic brands.

Welcome to Mahogany Prime Steakhouse.

This project included site planning, shell, and full interior design, creating a cohesive and elevated dining environment.

Designed to accommodate everything from special nights out to company gatherings, Mahogany features private dining and meeting spaces throughout. At the center, a standout bar with a glass-enclosed wine cellar anchors the experience.

Where coffee meets collaboration ☕✨

ecafé designed by Slaggie Architects is redefining the workspace experience in Kansas City. The space blends the energy of a coffee house with the functionality of a modern business hub. Located at 106th & Roe, this locally owned spot serves up Scooter’s Coffee alongside thoughtfully designed spaces for entrepreneurs, teams, and professionals to connect, create, and grow.

From open seating and private offices to reservable conference rooms, ecafé is built for productivity without sacrificing comfort or community.

We enjoyed hosting students from Blue Valley’s CAPS Engineering (AEC) program out at our K-1 Racing construction site this morning!

Kip Brown led the tour, giving students a firsthand look at the project and walking them through what’s happening behind the scenes. For some, it was their very first time stepping onto a construction site, always a fun milestone to be part of.

It’s great to see the next generation of engineers and architects getting real-world exposure. Thanks to CAPS for spending the morning with us.

Giving back is something we truly value at Slaggie Architects!

Our team recently spent time volunteering at the Harvesters warehouse, helping with sorting and packing as part of an annual tradition that allows us to support our community in a hands-on way. This year, 10 members of our team came together for the effort, and it was a meaningful reminder of the impact small actions can make.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue this tradition and look forward to carrying it forward in 2026 and beyond.
