22 students. The Equipment Dealers Foundation is investing in them.

Today the Equipment Dealers Foundation announced the recipients of our 2026 scholarship awards β€” 22 students pursuing diesel and heavy equipment technology, agricultural technology, and agribusiness at technical colleges, community colleges, and universities across the country.

Several are enrolled in manufacturer-affiliated training programs including the CAT ThinkBIG Program, the John Deere Ag Tech Program, and the NAEDA Technician Training Program at OSUIT. Every one of them is sponsored by a NAEDA member dealership β€” the same dealerships that will hire, mentor, and grow with them.

"These scholarships represent our industry's investment in the technicians, service professionals, and future leaders who will keep America's farms, construction sites, and communities running," said Tom Nobbe, Chair of the EDF Board of Directors. "We are proud to support these students as they build careers alongside the dealerships that first opened the door for them."
This program exists entirely because of our donors β€” member dealerships, manufacturers, and industry partners who give every year so that a student's tuition isn't the thing standing between them and a career.

Congratulations to all 22 recipients. Read the full announcement here πŸ‘‰ https://www.equipmentdealermagazine.com/equipment-dealers-foundation-announces-2026-scholarship-recipients/

Join Fellow Dealers This Fall β€” Register for a NAEDA Regional Event

Some of the best conversations in this industry don't happen in a boardroom β€” they happen on a golf course or at a clay shooting station, standing next to someone who understands exactly what your business is up against.

That's the idea behind the NAEDA & Equipment Dealers Foundation Regional Events, running September 2026 through January 2027. Registration is now open for our first three.

October 1 Milford Hills β€” Johnson Creek, WI Wisconsin Clay Shoot
October 15 Falcon Lakes β€” Kansas City, KS Kansas Golf Tournament
October 19 Timber Banks Golf Club β€” Syracuse, NY New York Golf Tournament

Why join us?
β€’ Network. Build valuable relationships with dealers and industry partners.
β€’ Stay informed. Engage in timely discussions that impact your business.
β€’ Support the Foundation. Help strengthen the future of our industry through the Equipment Dealers Foundation.
β€’ Enjoy the day. Whether on the course or in the field, these events are all about connection and camaraderie.
β€’ Invite and register. Bring a teammate, a customer, or a prospective member along.

One more ask: don't come alone. These events are at their best when the room is full of new faces, so forward this to a colleague, a customer, or a dealer who isn't a member yet. It's one of the easiest introductions you can make to what NAEDA does.
Spaces are limited at each venue, so we'd encourage you to claim your spot early.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Every decision we make at NAEDA runs through one question: Will it help the dealer?
That's not a tagline we put on a wall. It's the filter. If a program, a policy position, or a partnership doesn't make life better for the 3,500+ ag, construction, forestry, and outdoor power dealers we represent, it doesn't move forward.
What that looks like in practice:
β†’ We show up before you have to ask. Our government affairs team is working in Washington, Ottawa, State House and provential legislatures across North America β€” on legislation most dealers will never have to read, because we're reading it for them.
β†’ We stand between you and the pressure. Manufacturer relations, contract reviews, legal and regulatory uncertainty. When those calls come, our members don't take them alone.
β†’ We invest in your people. Training, benchmarking, and business resources built specifically for dealership realities β€” not generic advice borrowed from another industry.
For 115+ years, dealers have carried this association. The least we can do is carry them back.
To our members: thank you. You're not an account number to us. You're the reason we exist.
Not a member yet? Let's talk about what that support could look like for your dealership. πŸ”— [link]
