Wednesday's storm brought quarter to half-dollar size hail through Linn Creek, Camdenton, and Osage Beach. Even if your roof looks fine from the ground, hail can crack shingles and shorten your roof's life without you seeing it.

Handlin Construction works at the Lake of the Ozarks all the time, and we love working down there. Homes, condos, and lake houses are all in our wheelhouse.

If you think your roof took a hit, get it looked at before the next storm makes it worse.

24-hour deadline. 20 hours later, she had a new roof. 🏠

This client — a longtime real estate agent — needed it done fast to keep a sale on track. Our crew got the call, signed the contract, and got it done.

This is what we do. Every time.

Storm season brings out the best and worst in this industry. If you're a KCK homeowner getting quotes right now, do yourself a favor:

✅ Ask for their KS license number — look it up yourself
✅ Ask where their office actually is
✅ Ask who backs the warranty in 5 years if something goes wrong
✅ Ask if they sponsor a local team, show up to a fish fry, sponsor anything here

A lot of these "storm chaser" crews show up after a bad hailstorm, sign as many contracts as they can, and are gone before winter. No license, no local address, no accountability. When your roof leaks in three years, good luck finding them.

Support the guys who live here, raise their kids here, and have to look you in the eye at the grocery store. Do your homework before you sign anything. 🏠

We were out today inspecting storm damage, and here’s the thing: your roof could look like this and you’d never know it just from standing in your driveway. Hail damage isn’t always obvious — it hides in the granules, the flashing, the little cracks that turn into big leaks down the road.

If we’ve had hail in your area recently, it’s worth a look. 📞 Give Handlin Construction a call for a FREE, no-obligation roof inspection — we’ll tell you straight whether you’re fine or whether you’ve got a claim to file.

As always, stay safe out there.

**Storm Damage in KCK? Slow Down.**

Out-of-town door-knockers are working the storm right now — you don't have to decide today. On most policies you've got at least a year to file a claim.

We're taking care of leaky roofs first, then getting to inspections as fast as we can. Quality work, quality shingles, from a name you already trust.

If your home was affected, give us a call. Be safe out there. 📞 913-707-8082
