No two lots are exactly alike.

Kansas City's residential lots vary in width and depth, and determine constraints for a typical building footprint. On average, lot sizes in Kansas City ranges from 5,000-10,000 square feet. To accommodate this variability, the Pre-Approved homes were designed for parcels ranging from 25’ to 50’ wide and 120’ to 150’ deep. Narrow, standard, and wider lot conditions each informed different plan configurations, ensuring that homeowners and developers have options that fit a range of site conditions.

DRAW has been working with the City of Kansas City, Missouri to provide free architectural drawings to residents and developers in the city. The plans are "pre-approved" meaning the set has been stamped, sealed, and approved for construction.

Recently, our team left the office for some summer fun! We started with a great tour of The Rabbit Hole, then played some pickleball at Chicken n Pickle, and finished off the day in the Iron District for a happy hour. Everyone deserves summer fun!

Earlier this month a new addition to the Englewood Theater was announced to bring dressing rooms, restrooms, and support spaces to the theater. DRAW has enjoyed working with the Friends of Englewood on this project. Read more about the new addition in the link below.

The Friends of Englewood Theater has shifted plans, now focusing on a new addition to the historic Independence building.

Why are Marvin Lyman and Dominique Davison smiling?

They were at the groundbreaking for The Hope Center Kansas City's Hope Village. Two KCMO pre-approved housing units will be built at two sites to mark the beginning of Hope Village!

Hope Village is one of many initiatives by The Hope Center to fulfill their mission of reaching and developing urban youths into world-class leaders.

We celebrate all the mamas and papas who immigrated here, fought tooth and claw, to hopefully live prosperous lives within our 3.5 million square miles.
