Safety is a top priority at Global, and we're excited to continue growing our Safety Team with two familiar faces who have recently stepped into new roles:

🚧 Dallas Hendricks joined Global in September 2024 as a Laborer before transitioning to the Safety Team earlier this year. He has now stepped into the role of Safety Manager!
🚧 Valley Steadham joined Global in June as an Operator and transitioned to the Safety Team shortly after. He has now taken on the role of Safety Specialist!

Having team members with firsthand field experience move into safety roles brings valuable perspective to the work we do every day. We're proud to see Dallas and Valley continue to grow within Global and take on an important role in ensuring our crews go home safely each day.

Our office just got a little upgrade!✨

New Global Earthwork & Underground signage is officially up, and we're loving seeing our name on display alongside some of Kansas City's most recognizable landmarks.

We're proud to have the Global name in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District, and even prouder of the people, projects, and hard work it represents.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁.

At the UMKC Healthcare Delivery and Innovation Building, our crews completed a wide range of infrastructure work, including public improvements, private sitework, utility relocations, water main extensions, roadway connections, and the installation of two underground StormTrap systems designed to reduce strain on the public storm sewer system.

The project required our team to navigate tight site constraints, deep utility installations, soil conditions, and coordination across multiple scopes of work, all while keeping safety and project progress at the forefront!

Through careful planning, coordination, and the expertise of our field crews, we successfully delivered infrastructure that not only support the new facility, but helps prepare the surrounding site for future development. Great work to everyone involved!

A great day on the course for an event greater cause! ⛳

Last week, members of the Global Earthwork & Underground Safety Team hit the links with our DEWALT Customer Representative at the White Cap Midwest Golf Classic benefiting Ronald McDonald House Kansas City.

Our team had a great showing and finished in second place — congrats, team, on an awesome round!

A big thanks to White Cap for hosting an event that brings the industry together while supporting an organization that makes a meaningful difference for families throughout the Kansas City community and beyond.

Last Friday, interns from Global, Clarkson, and Hoy came together to wrap up the summer with final presentations, sharing what they worked on, what they learned, and the impact they made along the way.

As intern Corbin Maxon (Construction Science & Management, Kansas State University) shared about the presentations, "It's been a chance to reflect on an incredible few months of learning, growth, and hands-on experience. It was an an amazing opportunity to showcase the hard work put in this summer and discuss the impact of our projects with industry leaders."

And while the summer program may be over, we're excited to have Corbin sticking around a little longer! His internship with Global has been extended for two additional weeks, giving him more time to continue gaining experience and contributing his talents to our team.

Today marks the last day of our 2026 summer internship program, and we're sending a huge thank you to an incredible group of interns!

From jobsites and project work to community outreach, volunteering, team events, and everything in between, you jumped in, asked great questions, brought fresh ideas, and made a real impact on our teams this summer.
