Found this gem. This is a great reason you hire a professional that follows the codes. This is a fernco underground. Strongbacks are required as you can see the difference from the original when it was dug up to the new fittings. Ground shifts and this caused the weak fitting to move and cause a offset in the line. This was causing the line to clog and back up. Once we got it fixed everything was flowing as it should. Just remember call people that will do it right and they are not usually the cheapest bid you'll get. Another sewer fixed. This customer had another company fix it before. They used a 3 inch line and slide it into the 4 inch line. Tree roots found there way in. Of course this was under the stairs and concrete do we burst a new 4 inch line out past there and fixed the issue. He was glad we didn't have to remove the stairs or the patio.
