Ark General Construction received a call regarding a sunroom floor that had sunk approximately 3 inches. Initially, we proposed a solution based on the symptoms without full visibility of the framing below. Once we removed the subfloor, we discovered extensive termite damage to all the joists, making it unsafe and unsuitable to simply sister the existing framing.

To ensure the structural integrity and safety of the room, we reframed the entire sunroom. This included installing all new rim joists, a new sill plate, proper blocking for added support, and a new 3/4-inch subfloor to restore levelness and strength.
