I got the honor of making this sign for the Concord Fire Department Recruit Class 39!
It was definitely a fun one, I got to use my CNC and try out some new plastic on the laser.

Little before and after, there was originally a curtain here so I made sure the beam i attached to was strong enough and built a barn door to go here and did some shiplap. I didn’t have much clearance at all so regular barn door tracks wouldn’t work so I bought low clearance tracks and modified the mounting points so I could screw it to the ceiling beam instead of the wall studs.
I still need to do something about the ugly green steps 🤦‍♂️
