Trying to decide which countertop is best for your home?

Quartz, quartzite, granite, marble, laminate, butcher block, and solid surface all have their place. The right choice depends on how you cook, clean, host, live, and how much maintenance you actually want to sign up for.

Some materials are better for busy kitchens.
Some make more sense in laundry rooms, bathrooms, or secondary spaces.
And some are beautiful, but need a homeowner who understands the maintenance that comes with them.

That’s where we help narrow it down.

We look at the whole picture: layout, function, budget, durability, style, and how the space is actually going to be used.

Because the best countertop is not always the most expensive one.

It’s the one that makes sense for your home.

Just sent this remodel design off to a client 🙌

Our favorite part of this one is how much storage we were able to work into the space without making it feel crowded. Every bit of room had a job: smarter cabinet placement, better function, and storage that actually makes sense for how the space will be used.

These are the details that don’t always look loud on paper, but they make a big difference once you’re living with them every day.

So what do we think… are they going to love it?

Being easy to work with is something we care about deeply.

Clear communication, thoughtful planning, and helping people feel confident through the process are a big part of how we approach every project.

But this one also means something extra because it speaks to the work we're doing beyond the studio. Being involved with the Flathead Building Association is rooted in the same thing we bring to our clients: showing up, supporting the building community, and helping move the industry forward in a thoughtful way.

New build complete with our Double R Design Studio Line.

This project features the Oxford door style in a Toffee finish, giving the cabinetry a warm, grounded look that works beautifully throughout the space.

Clean, practical, and thoughtfully selected for the way this home will be lived in.

Some of the best ideas really do start over drinks with friends who happen to have very specific skills.

Field measure day ☀️

Before cabinetry is ordered, we like to put eyes on the space, verify measurements, check clearances, note outlet and window locations, and catch the little things that can make a big difference later.

It’s one of our favorite parts of the process, getting to be on-site, with the client and the builder taking in incredible views and working together for the ultimate goal of a seamless project!

Building season is picking up quick and we couldn't be happier!
