Old World Distributors A premire manufacturer of fine architectural accents and roofing materials We also provide virtually unlimited custom capabilities.

We offer a broad range of standard products that are manufactured to the highest standards of excellence possible. If you can design it, we can produce it. If you need help designing it, we can do that too. We believe "Old World" is not about the types of products we produce, it's about the personalized service and support we give to our customers and the attention to detail we give to our projects. Old World Distributors is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan - a community with a deep industrial heritage that once produced Checker Cabs and Gibson Guitars. It is in the spirit of that legacy of quality, innovation and impressive industrial design that we produce our roofing accessories. Established in 1996, Old World began as a specialty company, installing slate and tile roofs throughout Michigan. Our company built a reputation for unmatched workmanship, customer service and knowledge of the industry - and demand grew. We soon realized that we could better serve our clients by offering a broader range of products and by making them available beyond our state borders. Today, our roofing accessories grace some of the most distinctive private homes and commercial buildings across the nation. Thanks to a flattening global market, we also offer our distinctive roofing accessories around the world. We designed our online catalog to make it easy to find the accessories you need - or to order the custom items your project calls for. If you can't find just what you want, please contact us. We employ a select staff of craftspeople. Each shares our commitment to designing and building only the finest products available.

We have just completed this Onion Dome for a clients personal Chapel. Over two years in the making to get this from concept to reality. It’s 16’ wide and 34’ tall. Between the steel super structure and the copper elements this weighed in just under 8000 #. Every piece was hand made in our shop attached to the super structure; indexed and removed to be fitted in the field. The super structure was then loaded and transported to the site where it was field welded and sanded. Old World attached the substructure to the super structure and cladded it in Copper. The decorative elements above the dome were then dropped in place by the crane and fit perfectly!
