Sometimes school is learning how to read a recipe, following the recipe, and cleaning up when you’re done.

Real life skills was been taken out of education a long time ago, and as a homeschool mom I am bringing that back for my children.

We do have a regular curriculum we follow, but we don’t just do book work. We can explore interests, do hands on projects, go on field trips every Friday, and so so much more.

Who knows maybe my husband will teach them how to whittle next 😆

I don’t want more things. I want more time.

We’ve stopped asking each other “how can we be making more?” And we’ve started asking “how can we live that will let us make less?”

Because in reality that’s how you buy back your time. If you aren’t constantly chasing more, new, better. You can start being intentional with what you do have.

Yes we will always need an income, because you have to pay to live here on this earth. But what if we start living and working to have more time together, and less for the “better” things.

Not so that we can avoid hard work. But so that our hard work can start being for our family, and not just to put money in someone else’s pocket.

I often bring my husband a coffee while im out because I know he works hard and also he’s a hotty.

I always ask him what he wants me to prioritize around the house. He knows I do all the things and something can slip and I want him to feel like he can tell me what he would like done. Although every single time he just says “me” sooooo

Ope. I said it. You should try being intimate more than once a month. Maybe try AT LEAST once a week and watch what it does for your marriage 🙂‍↕️. I’m not saying you have to 5-7 days a week but bare minimum should be once a week (more like twice a week should be bare minimum but we all gotta start somewhere 😂)
