We’re expecting torrential rainfall over the coming week, and with that comes the potential for flash flooding. Now is the time to take a few minutes and get your home, property, and family prepared. ⚠️

Before the rain arrives:

🔨 Clear your gutters & downspouts
🪵 Remove debris and anything that could block water flow
🚗 Move vehicles and valuables to higher ground if needed
🌊 Know whether your property is near a creek, river, or flood-prone area
🔦 Have flashlights, batteries, food, water, and essentials ready
📱 Keep up with weather alerts and changing conditions
🚧 NEVER drive through flooded roads — Turn Around, Don’t Drown!

And remember: Flash flooding can happen FAST. Water can rise quickly even when it isn’t raining directly where you are.

Take a few minutes now so you aren’t scrambling later.
