I don't usually like to show full photos of what I'm working on until it's done. But some people share their own photos and tag me before I get the chance. Honestly, though, I don't mind at all because I love seeing people tag me in things. So here's just a quick up close look of the Linn project for now.

Zooming in on my favorite details from the Cico Park sign. Haley turned each letter into its own sport, stitching and all. She freehanded every one of those lines herself. It's the kind of detail that takes a sign from good to great.

Welcome to my home away from home while I work on this GIANT project.

When you're up on scaffolding for weeks at a time, you learn pretty quickly that shade is not optional. This setup took some trial and error to figure out, but it works and it packs up easy when I need to move it. I even spray paint the connection points so I know exactly how it goes back together next time, because apparently future me cannot be trusted to remember.

Just don't forget to roll up the tarps at the end of the day. Learned that one the hard way.

This guy's got the best seat in the house for every home game!

You can find him painted on the back side of the grain elevator, facing the Linn High School football field.

Home of the Bulldogs, and now they've got one watching over the team.

There are some mural artists that start their project and from the first brush stroke it looks amazing! I'm not one of those mural artists....

Mine usually look like a big mess and like I don't know what I'm doing! And honestly, sometimes I DON'T know what I'm doing, but I keep doing and it eventually comes together!

I wanted to try the VR with this one to see if it would work. Because of the height and the curves, it did not work!! 😅 So I'm doing it old school with a doodle grid. The first photo shows my doodle grid overlay on my design drawing.

Side note: I am aware that the cow looks like it's as big as the truck. That will be corrected!

Follow along, this one's got a long way to go before it's done.
