Good morning, hope we start the week safe. Wanted to comment on why its important to REALLY check out references, experience, feel, etc not just price when you are looking for an estimate from a contractor. Especially with important areas of home: kitchens, bathrooms, additions where load bearing is important, etc. Not here to criticize anyone. I believe we all have a right to work and have a business. But on clients side of things, ask yourself: how did i hear of them? Friend, family? Did he do work somewhere else that had no issues? Do they respect my home, can i trust them? Experience and design there or do they just want to make money and leave? Do they help me visualize what my needs and wants are? And how much experience do they have in that area? Anyone can get a license, so please verify they will do job right not give you a better price. Its your home, your biggest investment!
