Anyone ever heard of this? I installed a new L5 LiftMaster jack shaft to replace an existing L2 as the anchors fit perfectly and made for an easy install but when testing the remote, it did not stop on the way up? After calling Tech Suport they tried to clear the board then Tried to get me to code a button to work in the SBC mode which is for single button control and when that did not work, they asked me to hit the learn button, then jumper the SBC and common at the board and then hit the button on the remote then the learn button again and 40 minutes later I’m leaving with the door working but wanting a new Warranty circuit board because this should not be happening. It does it on the timer control mode. Imagine if the door gets off track or something goes wrong right after the person hits the remote and you have no way to stop the door by hitting the remote again that could be all bad, especially in this case where it was on a Fire Dept door
