Here’s what a trash bin cleaning looks like. We use water heated to 180°F to clean out grime and residue, and you can see the difference when the job is done.

One-time cleaning is $60 for up to 2 bins. I’m scheduling when the weather allows, and you’re only billed when the cleaning is completed.

It’s raining today. From a window or a safe spot on the ground, take a look outside: are your downspouts carrying water away, or is water spilling over the edge of your gutters?

On a recent call, I was asked to check a drain tile because the basement floor had gotten wet. The drain tile was flowing normally. I found a clogged downspout at the far end of the gutter run. Because the gutter sloped toward a window, rainwater spilled over the edge there instead of draining through the downspout.

Overflow can wash out landscaping and may contribute to damage around the roof edge over time. It’s worth catching before colder weather sets in.

Gutters are easy to forget until they stop doing their job.

These are real examples of what we find during gutter cleanings: dry leaves turn into packed debris, wet sludge, and standing water. When water cannot make it to the downspout, it overflows where you do not want it.

That can mean water near the foundation, along the siding, or around walkways once freezing temperatures arrive.
