A shared meal is a wonderful way to start a day of growing together!

At Brownswood, we close out each month with Celebration Mondays, gathering for breakfast to celebrate our team’s birthdays and work anniversaries. These mornings give us a chance to enjoy good food and fellowship, connect, and recognize the people who make this place what it is.

Demi brought an extra helping of kindness this morning with two pans of delicious homemade empanadas. Thank you for sharing your cooking and your care with all of us!

Learning together, cheering each other on, and making room to celebrate along the way. That’s how we keep growing as a team!

Could you name that fern? This week, our whole team put their plant knowledge to the test!

Dianna brought four ferns to our morning meeting for a round of “Name That Fern,” challenging everyone to identify Holly Fern, Autumn Fern, Southern Wood Fern, and Kimberly Queen Fern.

At Brownswood Nursery & Landscape, we’re proud to be a teaching nursery, and that learning starts with our own team. Our weekly plant spotlights give us a chance to share horticultural expertise, build confidence, and help newer team members grow their knowledge. A little friendly competition makes the lesson even more memorable!

Our Brownswood team was glad to support .island.outreach with plant donations to help landscape their new building and create a welcoming space for the community they serve.

A shared love of horticulture brought our teams together again!

After visiting last Monday, we were grateful to welcome their team to Brownswood yesterday for a closer look at our nursery, grounds, and daily operations. Thank you for taking the time to visit, exchange ideas, and learn more about the work we do!
