Congratulations to our entire team on this outstanding achievement! Being the prime contractor for a project recognized as the 2026 Project of the Year by the American Public Works Association (in the Transportation $5–$25 Million category) is an incredible milestone.

The Canal Road and Glynco Parkway Roundabout is an example of hard work and strong collaboration can solve long-standing community challenges. Our employees, subcontractors, and suppliers should be incredibly proud of delivering a safer, smoother, and highly-praised piece of infrastructure for Glynn County.

We are proud to share that the Canal Road and Glynco Parkway Roundabout has been named the 2026 Project of the Year in the Transportation $5–$25 Million category by the American Public Works Association. 🎉

The roundabout was completed in October 2025 and replaces an intersection that had long been difficult for drivers because of its sharp angle and heavy traffic.

The project added a multi‑lane roundabout, widened and straightened the roads leading into it, and shifted about 1,700 feet of Harry Driggers Boulevard so it lines up more safely with Glynco Parkway.

These improvements make the intersection easier to navigate and help traffic flow more smoothly for everyone who uses it.

The project was funded by SPLOST 2022 with support from Georgia DOT grants and connects to earlier improvements made through SPLOST 2016.

Thank you to our Public Works team, contractors, partners, and community for supporting projects that make Glynn County safer and easier to travel every day. 👏
