NJ is feeling like an oven this week… so here’s a throwback to one of our favorite jobsite traditions. 🥒☀️
Roofing in a heat wave isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s dangerous.
Water, electrolytes, shade, and plenty of breaks aren’t optional. Pickle juice can be a helpful addition because it’s loaded with sodium, one of the electrolytes your body loses through sweat. Some people even swear it helps reduce muscle cramps after long hours in the heat.
At the end of the day, nothing replaces proper hydration, taking breaks, and knowing when it’s time to step off the roof.
Stay hydrated. Stay safe. Look out for your crew. 💪☀️
