Taking you behind the scenes of Conchy Joe's Seafood Restaurant addition project with a progress update! Our concrete and masonry subcontractor, Doyle Masonry, has been hard at work on the outside bar component, showcasing the intricate sequence of construction stages.

👷‍♂️ **Stem Wall Footers:** The foundation begins with the installation of stem wall footers, ensuring a solid base.

🧱 **Stem Wall Block Installation and Grouting:** Next, the stem wall takes shape as blocks are meticulously installed and then the cells grouted for stability.

🚜 **Backfilling the Stem Wall:** With the foundation set, backfilling inside the stem wall is carefully done to prepare for the next phase.

👷‍♂️ **Forming the Slabs:** Moving upward, the elevated slab is formed over the stem wall along with the slab on grade and then they are poured, creating the floors of the bar structure.

🧱 **Installing Block Walls on Elevated Slab:** The final touch involves installing block walls on top of the elevated slab, shaping the exterior of the bar.

Milestone achieved at Conchy Joe's Campus Expansion and Redevelopment Project! Huge appreciation to Sunline Civil Construction, Inc. for their stellar work on the underground utilities and storm drain system, laying the foundation for success.

CK Contractors, our sitework subcontractor, is ensuring precision and quality every step of the way as they pave the final lift on the east and most of the west parking lots and the first lift along Indian River Drive. Following the paving, the next phase involves pouring the remaining concrete sidewalks.

Exciting progress at AEgen Construction! We are currently on site at Conchy Joe's Seafood Restaurant in beautiful Jensen Beach, FL, working on an impressive 6,000 SF detached addition. This project is a blend of an open-air heavy timber structure coupled with a masonry building that will add two additional bars and additional dining capacity to their existing waterfront facility.

Our team has skillfully completed framing the heavy timber structure and our subcontractor, Doyle Masonry Inc., is progressing with the foundation work for the masonry portion. A huge thanks to Conchy Joe's for the opportunity to undertake and deliver this prominent project!

Thank you for the shoutout Conchy Joe's Seafood Restaurant! We have enjoyed working on this wonderful project with you all.

You may have noticed a single flag flying over our new boardwalk here at Conchy Joe’s. This flag was discovered in the muck by one of the AEgen Construction Crew members-Eric. Not dismayed, Eric cleaned it up and attached it to one of the pilings so it could fly with pride once again. BIG SHOUT to the AEGen Construction Team for working so hard day in and day out, we salute you!
