L.D. Kerns Contractors is a full service general contractor, providing value, quality, and timely projects for the commercial, retail, and industrial industries. Our broad base of expertise ranges from small specialty stores to complete ground-up projects and total site renovations. We are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and can easily service much of the entire state and surrounding areas. Kerns has built its reputation on providing our customers with more than they expected through quality workmanship and timely project completion. We have extensive in-house capabilities, allowing us to take on a wide range of projects that might normally be sub-contracted. This, in turn, allows us to provide a more cost effective bid and maintain better control of project scheduling. We also offer conceptual estimating services so that you can better anticipate construction costs as the design process proceeds. Every project, large or small, receives professional service, full-time project supervision, and weekly scheduling. We appreciate you taking the time to consider our services and look forward to providing you a timely bid.

When the contractor joins the conversation can change how a project moves forward.

With Design-Build construction delivery, design and construction are brought together as a team that creates one point of responsibility and allows constructability, coordination, budget, and scheduling conversations to happen earlier in the process.

For owners, that can mean fewer handoffs between separate teams and a more collaborative path from early planning through construction.

At LDKerns, we have team members trained and certified specifically in the Design-Build delivery method, giving us the experience to lead the process from design through the build.

LD Kerns was honored to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new Readiness Center for the Oklahoma Military Department—the first new Readiness Center to be built in Oklahoma in several years.

This project represents years of planning, coordination, and commitment, and we are incredibly proud to have been entrusted with bringing this important facility to life.

Readiness Centers play a vital role in supporting the men and women who serve our state and nation, providing the facilities and resources they need to train, prepare, and respond when called upon.

For our team at LD Kerns, this is more than another construction project. It is an opportunity to build something that will serve Oklahoma’s military members, their families, and our communities for generations to come.

We are grateful to the Oklahoma Military Department for the opportunity and trust, and we look forward to seeing this long-awaited vision become a reality.

We’re proud to build for those who serve. 🇺🇸
