the pictures below are 2 french vases circa 1915 they where so badly corroded that they had to be taken apart. Repairs involved casting extensive epoxy glue up. The beautiful casting was done in pot metal, because during World War 1 most brass was needed for bullet and artillery casings.

From Lisa Barber:
I have a dining room table that belong to my aunt and uncle. It is over 50 years old. And in that 50 years it has seen its share of a lot of love. And with that love it held up under a lot of water damage and a lot of stains. I thought it was pretty much a lost cause to restore it. But Randy Stark at From Stark to Finish took it under his wing and made it look majestic again! Once the table was done we realized it was a very low standing table that standard dining room chairs would not fit comfortably. He added some beautiful feet to the pedestal and made it look better than it ever was. Please see below for some before and after pictures of Randy’s amazing talent and work.

Well I'm learning a lesson in patience..Working on repairing a split on the side of a high polish black grand piano ..left with the alternative of blending a finish that is basically incompatible..Ive had to spray almost a mist coat over the course of 2 weeks. On my 20th coat..finally thigh enough to sand and polish like glass.
