We built out this deck extension last fall. Later, enclosed the bottom portion of the deck to make it water sealed and trimmed out with Hardie to match the rest of the home. Now, it is all stained to match the rest of the exterior!

This client had many diverse projects that needed to be done. Cleaning Cobwebs, Recaulking wall in shower, stabilizing deck, rebuilding poorly built deck landing, securing all deck boards, repairing posts tops, and replacing screens on screen porch. Insurance Claim! Tree fell on home when we had those big storms earlier this year. 🫢

Most people have an issue with getting insurance to cover certain things or even to get the funds available in a reasonable time.

In this case, we were able to get started right away and sought to get them closed in and before another storm came through.

Renovation Alert 🚨

This home was built in the 70’s. There are factors to consider when renovating a home, but especially a home close to the mid 1900’s. Every home has a story and what a story we discovered! There was residual mold from previous leak that was caused by no flashing before it started to become code. There was hardly any light in the main living space and the bathroom had not been touched in decades.

We took care to make sure mold was properly taken care of and update the bathroom to fit its “time” while making it look up-to-date.
