Today marks 49 years since my father took a leap of faith and started Harrell Construction.
What began as one man's vision became a family business built through long days, hard work, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way. My mother was there from the very beginning, helping build the company alongside him every step of the way.
Two years ago, Dad stepped away from active duty after nearly five decades of leadership. A year before that, Mom retired as well. Their fingerprints are on every part of this company, and the foundation they built continues to guide us today.
As the second generation, I have the privilege and responsibility of carrying that legacy forward. While the industry, technology, and opportunities continue to evolve, the principles that built this company remain unchanged: quality, integrity, and taking care of our customers, employees, and partners.
Today we honor the past, celebrate 49 years of Harrell Construction, and look forward to the next chapter.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey—employees, customers, vendors, subcontractors, friends, and family. We wouldn't be here without you.
