Our Jacksonville team recently gathered for a special Lunch & Learn with K9s For Warriors to learn more about their mission and the life-changing impact of pairing rescued dogs with Veterans.

Amanda Collins, Development Manager of Corporate Partners, shared powerful insights into the organization’s work, including:

• More than 2,500 dogs rescued and 1,200+ Veterans served across all 50 states
• 350+ Veterans currently waiting to be paired with a service dog
• 92% of Veteran graduates report a reduction in medication
• 82% report a reduction in suicidal ideation
• More than 90 therapy dogs placed with first responder agencies since 2020

And Norlee wasn’t the only special guest. Four other service dogs in training joined us for the Lunch & Learn, giving our team the chance to meet all five dogs and watch them show off some of the skills they’ve been learning.

Our team also had plenty of time with Norlee, giving him lots of attention and getting to see the personality behind the vest. He’s continuing his training and is expected to be paired with a Veteran this fall.

One of the most moving moments of the event was hearing Veterans share how their service dogs have changed their lives. Their stories were a powerful reminder of the impact behind K9s For Warriors’ mission.

Great conversations. Strong connections. New opportunities.

Great turnout at our Naples job fair! Our recruiting team enjoyed meeting so many attendees and walked away with 50+ qualified candidates. It was a great opportunity to introduce talented professionals to Norlee Group and share what’s ahead.

Another fun event in the books! 🎉

Last week, we came together for a successful team event as we officially welcomed the VEI group to the NLG family and celebrated an exciting new chapter of growth. It was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and recognize the people who continue to make our success possible.

There’s a lot to look forward to, and we’re excited about what’s ahead for NLG. Here’s to continued growth, strong partnerships, and welcoming even more great people to the NLG family!

This summer, we had the opportunity to work alongside interns James Prescott, Grayson Traber, and Ian Giguere as they gained valuable experience and contributed to projects across Norlee Group.

James spent the summer with our Special Projects Division, gaining insight into project management, field operations, and the day-to-day coordination required to deliver successful projects. Grayson, a senior engineering student at the University of Florida, completed his third summer with NLG, continuing to build on his experience with our engineering team. Ian, a junior at the University of South Florida, completed his first summer with NLG, contributing nearly 500 hours across project coordination, system layouts, engineering calculations, and AutoCAD drafting.

Each of them demonstrated a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to contributing to our teams. We’re proud of the work they accomplished and grateful for the time, effort, and perspective they brought to Norlee Group this summer.

Thank you, James, Grayson, and Ian, for a great summer. We appreciate all you contributed to our team and wish you a successful school year ahead.

We're proud to introduce K9 Norlee, the Labrador Retriever that Norlee Group is sponsoring through K9s For Warriors as he begins training to become a Service Dog for a Veteran in need.

This partnership represents far more than sponsoring a Service Dog. It reflects our commitment to supporting those who have served our country and investing in organizations that create lasting, meaningful change in the communities we serve.

Over the coming months, we'll be sharing "Pup-dates" as Norlee progresses through training and prepares to meet the Warrior whose life he'll help change. We can't wait to follow his journey and eventually welcome both Norlee and his Warrior as part of the Norlee family.
