Painting walls & building community!

Our W. W. Gay team in Jacksonville had a great time recently volunteering with Vision Is Priceless and helping bring their new office to life. We’re proud to support a longtime community partner as they celebrate 30 years of making a difference!

The team behind the Orlando International Airport (MCO)
United Airlines Hangar project has reached a major milestone: topping out.

This achievement reflects the hard work, craftsmanship, and coordination of the field crews, trade partners, engineers, and stakeholders who have brought the project to this point. As the mechanical contractor, W. W. Gay is proud to be part of this team.

Now, the work kicks up a notch as we move into building enclosure, interior framing, and major MEP installations.
Proud of what this team has accomplished, and ready for what’s next!

What a fantastic few days at the FPC Seminar + Expo and Charity Golf in Orlando last week!

Our team was proud to connect with healthcare leaders, owners, designers, and builders from across the industry, sharing ideas and discussing how W. W. Gay can support the mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC needs of healthcare construction projects.

And, of course, our Custom Hat Patch Bar was a highlight! We enjoyed welcoming attendees to our booth, getting creative with custom patches, and building connections along the way.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and connected with our team! You helped make the event a success, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Check out some highlights from our team!

What if giving back could go a little further?

This past summer, we had the opportunity to support the Seminole County Chamber’s State of Our Schools event. Rather than simply handing out the usual giveaways at our table, we wanted to find a way to make our presence at the event meaningful beyond the day itself.

So, we put those resources toward something that could have a lasting impact: donating tools to a local high school’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) program.

We also invited attendees to get involved by writing notes of encouragement for students pursuing careers in the skilled trades, giving others the opportunity to be part of that investment, too.

This thoughtful message from Shawn Gard-Harrold was a meaningful reminder of why we chose to approach things a little differently. Innovation doesn’t always mean reinventing the wheel. Sometimes, it means looking at what you already have and finding a better way to put it to work.

We’re grateful to be able to turn a simple event sponsorship into an opportunity to give back, support students, and invest in the future of the skilled trades
