Well… this job didn’t go exactly how I pictured it in my head 😂

Here’s how the conversation went:

Me: “Okay, so three gutters, two miters, and two B-style downspouts on the face of this wall.”

Customer: “I hate the way those downspouts look.”

Me: “That’s how we normally do them. With the length of the fascia, we can’t really run a traditional A-style. If we turn them in, it’s probably going to look a little weird.”

Customer: “Weird is better than ugly.” 😂

Me: tries talking them into leaving them the normal way

Customer: “Yeah, I think some turned A’s would look better.”

Me: “Alright, I’ll give it a shot.”

After the install…

Me: “They look alright… but I’m still not sure about them.”

Customer: “That’s EXACTLY what I wanted! Thank you!!!” 😂

And that’s the best part of the job — sometimes the customer sees the finished product before you do.

With all the rain we’ve been getting lately, hidden gutter problems are starting to show—leaks, clogs, overflowing gutters, and drainage issues.

We recently inspected this home, and the good news was it didn’t need a full gutter replacement. A few honest repairs were all it took to get everything back in shape.

Yesterday the rain tried to slow us down, but we got the job done!

We installed brand-new 5” seamless gutters in Desert Sand on the back of this beautiful home, along with an underground drainage system and pop-up emitters to help move water safely away from the foundation and protect the home for years to come.

Most gutter companies take rainy days off.

At Whited Gutter Solutions, we see them as an opportunity.

Whenever it rains, we like to revisit past installs and watch our work perform in real-world conditions. It’s one of the best ways to make sure every system is doing exactly what it was designed to do and to continue improving our craftsmanship.

This is a home we completed last month. The old gutters were failing, and the fascia was badly rotted. Today, even in the rain, the new system is doing exactly what it should—moving water away from the home and flowing like a dream.
