Most of the ditch problems I get called out for start at one spot: the pipe under your driveway.

It is the narrowest point in the whole ditch line, so it plugs first. Walk out and look at both ends. If you cannot see daylight through it, everything upstream is backing up because of a piece of pipe you can see from the road.
