Who says soaring vaulted ceilings mean wasted square footage?

When this family fell in love with a grand, open-concept great room, we knew we had to maximize every single inch. Instead of leaving that vertical space untouched, we designed a custom, hidden secret gift closet, turning smart architecture into the ultimate clever storage solution! 🎁🤫

Maximizing function without sacrificing style is what custom building is all about.

A home this personal deserves a team that is just as invested.

At CornerStone, Caleb and Taylor remain personally involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, creating a building experience rooted in consistency, communication, and care.

Because your home should never feel like just another project.

The hardest part of building a custom home is usually knowing where to begin.

Taylor and Caleb break down the foundational steps we take with every client who comes to us wanting to build. From evaluating lot potential to diving into the core questions that define your layout, your budget, and how your family will live in the space for decades to come, these early conversations set the entire project up for success.

Site visits with a view like this? Absolutely. 🌊

As great as the backdrop is, this is really about making sure everything on the lot is running the way it should. We’re walking the frame, checking sightlines, and making sure every trade has what they need to hit their mark. A smooth build doesn't happen by accident. It happens because we’re out here on the ground every step of the way.

There’s a reason the farmhouse kitchen remains an absolute classic, but when you add a riverfront backdrop, it becomes something extraordinary.

Classic Shaker profile. A deep, timeless farm sink. A layout designed so that the moment you step into the kitchen, your eye goes straight to the natural light and moving water just beyond the glass.

What turns a custom house into a legacy home?

It is not just square footage. It is architectural endurance, site alignment, and designing for life decades down the road so every estate stands the test of time.

The art of the pull.

Before a frame goes up, Taylor sits down with the finish palette, balancing texture, light, and durability to craft spaces that feel effortless. A quick look at how we build cohesive kitchen and bath designs from scratch.
