Building a golf simulator in a gym ➡️ Day 7 since having the keys to this spot and we have been working on all the prep work that goes into these simulator spaces.
Using our Carl's Place LLC panels, we built a drop ceiling platform to mount the panels and Foresight Sports Falcon.
Next is getting all the tech and equipment up, stay tuned, you’ll want to see this before and after 👀

Don’t make this mistake. Spending thousands on velcro? A ‘cheap’ DIY enclosure with cheap inserts might save you money upfront but in the long run they are a giant pain. You want inserts that are actually attached to the enclosure and filled with foam- not just a piece of fabric that creates space for hidden golf balls and bounce back! Insane how many balls got stuck up here 🤯🫣

Day 2 of tackling moving The Golf Suite | Indoor Golf 24/7 by the end of this month 🤯 Basically everything is getting scrapped except the Foresight Sports Falcon, can’t wait to design and build a much better and bigger space! Getting everything out of this space though has been quite the headache but progress is being made!

When should you choose a custom panel enclosure instead of a DIY pipe enclosure?
A DIY pipe enclosure is perfect if you’re looking for something that’s easier to install, more budget-friendly, or going into a smaller space. Plus, if you ever move, you can take it with you.
But if you’re building your forever golf simulator, that’s where a custom panel enclosure really shines. It’s definitely a more involved installation, but instead of looking like a simulator set up inside a room, it transforms the entire room into the simulator.
Everything—from the walls and lighting to the acoustics and overall finish—is designed to feel like it was always meant to be there.
At the end of the day, neither option is right or wrong. It just depends on your space, your budget, and how permanent you want your simulator to be
