Hot summer weather can take a toll on more than just your chlorine levels. ☀️💧
High pH and metals falling out of solution can lead to staining and scale—especially after the extreme heat we’ve experienced this summer.

That’s where metal sequestration comes in. Adding a sequestrant helps keep metals suspended in the water, helping prevent them from settling onto your pool surfaces and causing unwanted stains or scale.

PoolWerx is now recommending twice-yearly metal sequestration as a preventative service to help protect your pool and keep your water looking its best.

Concerned about staining or seeing signs of buildup? Reach out to our team to learn more about metal sequestration and whether it’s right for your pool.
