This dead aspen tree needed to come down a few years ago. As I was ascending this tree, there were multiple signs of decay as the wood was beginning to rot underneath its bark. If you have a dead tree, especially near your home as this one clearly was, do not wait to have it removed but take care of it as soon as possible. I know that spending money on something that has no "return value" with it isn't always the greatest but think of the hazards that can be avoided when a responsible and professional crew, like Shaky Leaf Tree Surgeon removes a dead tree for you at a reasonable cost!

This pine tree stood close to 60 feet from base to top. It had been planted about 40 years ago by my uncles and father up on the hill at grandpa's. Today, there is a swimming pool, deck and garage near it which is why they wanted it down. The first pine wasn't as tall as this one and was struck by lightening about 8 years ago (no pictures of it). Please forgive the lack of PPE, I have to order some soon!

Always have a helper nearby for whatever may happen. On this job, I went up as usual but to my dismay the 193T trim saw was not nearly capable of cutting the large trunks out of this massive white oak after removing the rather large limbs. Thankfully, I had a friend with me who was able to tie on my Echo Timberwolf to finish this job. Just look at the base of this tree; it is a giant and stood for many ears. Sadly, this tree came to the end just a year or so ago and had to be removed in order to keep the cattle and horses within this field safe.
