Meet Josh, the owner of Hillside Excavation. Josh's passion for equipment began at a young age, and he's known his career path for as long as he can remember. In 2020, he turned his dream into a reality and officially started Hillside Excavation.

Josh is honest, respected, and genuinely personable. He truly loves what he does-powered by the great clients he works with.

More often than not, you'll either find Josh behind the controls of a piece of equipment or on the phone insuring the job runs smoothly and his clients get the best!

Meet Quinten, a foreman at Hillside Excavation. Quinten has been part of the company nearly since the beginning, dedicating himself to building the business and contributing more than most people realize.

He's hardworking, highly knowledgeable, and consistently goes above and beyond for our clients.

You can often find Quinten in the equipment and at the shop late after a long day, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for the next day.

He's highly knowledgeable, hardworking, and always ready to take on what the day has to offer.

Now Hiring: Laborer

We’re seeking a reliable laborer for consistent full-time work (40+ hours per week). The role includes occasional skid steer operation, concrete work, shoveling, and general jobsite support. You may also need to travel out of town at times.

Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Ability to Pass a Drug Test
• Strong Work Ethic
• Dependable Attitude
• Willingness to Travel Occasionally

It’s been a busy week up in Rockford, we searched for and installed 4 valves and 2 hydrants to complete the south side portion of this project.

Ian and Corey installed a 30’ culvert graded out approximately 250 yards of top soil and topped off this driveway today in Spring Arbor. Some finishing touches and it will be all wrapped up!
