If you’re having septic work done at your home or building a new house, don’t cut corners when it comes to your sewer lines. Especially in high-traffic areas, using thin-wall pipe can lead to major problems down the road.
This thin-wall pipe was installed as the sewer main, and as you can see, it simply didn’t hold up to the job. The right materials and proper installation matter when you’re putting something underground that you expect to last for decades.
Do it right the first time — saving a few dollars up front isn’t worth paying for the repairs later.
