As I gathered the last of my June-bearing strawberries for a sweet pie, I felt Grateful and Blessed for the bountiful harvest of strawberries. The total harvested berries yielded 38 quarts.

Our first cutting of Oregano has been dehydrated.
Oregano is great for Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. But it has many other uses.
One of which is used as a "Repellant for Ticks" 🪳

Bountiful blessings! Look at the size of these berries. 🍓 13 Quarts of strawberries picked this evening. What started as 12 bare root plants 3 years ago has multiplied into hundreds of plants that spread happiness to family and friends and all the extra plants are sold every Spring.

With 16 quarts of strawberries picked before the rain arrived, today was all about making the most of the harvest - turning some into strawberry rhubarb jam, preserves, freezer jam, and pancake syrup, with 7 quarts still waiting for their next creation, like strawberry pie and ice cream.
