Some “After” and THEN the before pictures of a recent project in Old Saybrook for great clients! We removed the poured concrete installed by a house “flipper” and gave it an updated, contrasting look using concrete pavers. We added a sitting wall here to enclose the new patio. I pulled out ALL of the paver catalogs for this one. Wall is Techo-Bloc Mini Creta, patio body is Unilock Treo, Steel Mountain color and I liked the Nicolock “The Montauk” paver in black for the border. The units are 4 inches wide and are able to handle the curves or straight edges without cutting a lot of pie pieces. We also added a cobble apron. Just waiting on Sullivan Paving Co., Inc to do their part and make a new asphalt driveway.

Nearing the finish line on this multi-faceted project in Westbrook. Some tricky grades and a directive to build a yard for Dog Agility enthusiast owners led us to these elevations and finishes. Tile patio on Trass base, artificial turf, fencing, steel edging, gas trenches, propane tank burial, generator prep, stone wall, irrigation, sod and plantings here so we checked a lot of the boxes on this one.

I had the pleasure of visiting this site today, in Stonington where we completed this challenging poolscape over the last 2 years. We took it as a referral where another contractor abandoned the project with some materials on site, no plan, just a concept from the client. We fleshed out the design, used what we had for materials and added as needed. Pool deck, sitting walls, retaining walls with bluestone caps, major drainage, irrigation, new plantings and sod were all on the agenda here. Client feels it’s a nice result. We hope you agree!!!
