Allen Road 3 — Roof Off + Summer Rain Prep

Big progress at Allen 3. The roof is officially off, opening the house up and setting the stage for the full second‑floor expansion. With all the nonstop rain this summer, we’ve had the top tarped multiple times to keep the interior dry and protected while we push forward.

The structure’s open, prepped, and ready for the next phase of the build.

Allen Road Project #3 — Upstairs + Extension Demo

Allen 3 is opening up fast. Upstairs, the crew is clearing out the entire second floor — walls, ceilings, old framing — resetting the space for the full rebuild coming next. Goodelman Demolition is on site handling the teardown with precision.

Downstairs, we’ve moved into the back room extension. The team is demoing the whole area to prep for the expanded footprint that’ll add major square footage and reshape the layout of the home.
Full demo. Full reset. The transformation is officially underway.

Allen Road Project 3 - Inside Tour with Skip Murphy

Today we’re heading inside the Allen 3 build to show you the full second‑floor transformation taking shape.

On the first level, this front room is being pushed out 5½ feet, the vaulted ceiling is coming down, and a brand‑new second floor will be framed above it. Windows are being relocated to match the new layout and flow of the home.

Upstairs is where the major work begins — it’s a full gut renovation. We’re removing every exterior wall, every rafter, every ceiling beam, all the bedrooms, the existing bathroom, and the deck over the garage. Everything on this level is being rebuilt from scratch.
The new second floor will feature:

• Three bedrooms on the right side
• A relocated hall bathroom for the kids
• A full master suite upfront
• A walk‑in closet over the existing garage
• A new master bath in the rear corner

This project adds significant square footage and completely reimagines how this home will live for the family.

Allen Road Project #3 — Exterior Tour with Skip Murphy

Today we’re giving you an outside look at the Allen 3 build in Rockville Centre. Skip walks through the full exterior, showing where the entire second floor will be removed, the deck over the garage will come off, and a brand‑new second‑floor addition will rise across the home.

You’ll see the footprint for the new master suite, the future walk‑in closet over the garage, the layout for three additional bedrooms, and the rear section where we’re adding a 5.5‑ft extension with a reverse gable for another upstairs bedroom.

This is the full exterior walkthrough — framing, structure, and all the major changes happening on the outside.

Part 2 drops tomorrow when we head inside for the full interior tour.

The existing family room, the original second floor, the untouched exterior… all about to change in a big way.

Allen Road Project #3 is underway in Rockville Centre — expanding the existing family room by 5 feet to support a brand‑new second‑floor layout. The first floor stays as‑is, but upstairs we’re building out four full bedrooms, two 4‑piece bathrooms, a walk‑in closet, a new attic staircase + hallway, and full window upgrades across the entire second floor.

This home is getting a complete exterior transformation with all new siding, all new windows, and a brand‑new roof. Front, side, and rear elevations are already mapped out — big changes coming to this property.
