I occasionally post about local restaurants (even if they don’t sell our fish dip)…especially if the food was amazing. If you are ever traveling through , be sure to stop Pop’s Smoke Shed. The there is some of the best I have had in a long time. It took me back to both South Carolina and Texas barbque where the brisket is so tender and the smoke flavor hits perfectly, especially with the drizzle of Tangy Carolina Sauce, was something to remember…I am also a lover of fried okra, and most places fry it and you add some salt or pepper to make the flavor pop, but Pop’s Smoke Shed seasons their fried okra to such perfection that you don’t have to add anything. Me? I like to dump the fried okra onto my plate and leave the brisket that drops from my sandwich until the end…then I take a fork and take bites of okra with bites of brisket 🤤…Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to stop back in. Thank you Pop’s Smoke Shed for banging out some of my favorite comfort foods. Visit The Florida Keys visit_flkeys
