Not all commercial landscape proposals are created equal!

When comparing bids for your DFW property, the lowest price isn't always the best deal if crucial services get left out.
Before signing your next contract, ask yourself:

✅ Does the plan account for seasonal weather delays & shifts?
✅ Are irrigation checks & controller adjustments clearly defined?
✅ Is there a direct point of contact when issues arise?
✅ Does the scope reflect what residents, tenants, or visitors experience every day?

Comparing proposals side-by-side helps ensure your grounds stay healthy and inviting all year round.

Thankful for some much-needed rain in DFW! 🌧️

What does a landscape company do when it’s pouring outside? We spend a little time together in the shop—and tackle the work that keeps our crews rolling.

Sharpening blades, changing oil, and handling small repairs on our trucks, trailers, and equipment. A rainy day gives us a chance to catch up, share a few laughs, and get everything ready for when the weather clears.

Especially thankful for this group of foremen. They work incredibly hard, lead with discipline, and take pride in caring for our customers’ properties and the equipment we depend on.

Grateful for the rain. Even more grateful for this crew.

A healthy landscape begins below the surface.

Recurring bare spots, displaced mulch, standing water, and stressed plants may be signs of deeper issues involving drainage, erosion, soil conditions, or irrigation performance.
Before replacing plants or increasing watering time, it is important to understand what is causing the visible problem. Otherwise, the same issue may return.

Learn how to spot early warning signs—like standing water, runoff channels, and recurring dry patches—before approving expensive replacements!

Ever get a landscape report full of blur and wonder, "What am I actually looking at here?"

A landscape crew can complete their routine tasks, but if they notice a hidden irrigation leak, plant stress, or a sightline issue and don't report it properly, small concerns can quickly turn into big budget surprises.

At MetroScape, we believe communication is part of the deliverable—not an afterthought. A useful update should make your job easier, not give you another task to decode!

In our blog post, we share:
✅ The 7 questions every good landscape report should answer
✅ Red flags that your landscape communication process isn't working
✅ How to separate urgent fixes from items you can simply monitor or plan for next year
