A little progress update on this one.

A lot goes into a pool project before you ever see water in it. Demo, plumbing, steel, concrete, tile, plaster. One step at a time.

It's not the exciting part, but it's what sets up the finished product.

I love using exposed aggregate on projects like this.

There's nothing wrong with a standard broom finish, but exposed aggregate gives the concrete a little more character. Once the surface is treated, it exposes the stone underneath and completely changes the look.

When you've got multiple finishes throughout a backyard, those small choices go a long way.

At the end of the day, concrete is concrete. The finish is what makes it stand out.

These past couple weeks have been packed with exciting transformations all around Orange County! Here are a couple of the highlights from these projects! 💦🏊

People see a pool.

We see the whole backyard.

This project is getting custom tile, waterfall coping, turf, concrete, an outdoor fireplace, and all the little details that make it feel complete. We could’ve kept it simple, but that’s not how we do things.

This one is going to be special. Stay tuned.

Quick update from one of our newest pool projects.

We passed all of our plumbing inspections, the pool structure is in, and now the fun part starts. We're using large-format porcelain throughout the project, including the pool, outdoor kitchen, island, and fireplace.

This raised bond beam is going to have a 4-foot sheer descent water feature coming off of it, and over in the ranch room we're getting ready to build a fireplace with simulated v***r flames for the homeowners to enjoy.

Monday we'll be pouring concrete for the planter walls, and once the outdoor kitchen is laid out, we'll start tying all of the finishes together.

This one's coming together really nicely and it's definitely going to be one of our favorite projects.
