You won’t believe this is the same house… and we’re not even done yet. 👀

This Dana Point home is getting a major transformation. Downstairs, we removed two walls, including a shear wall, to create a large open-concept living space, plus we’re adding large-format multi-slide doors across the back.

Upstairs, we’re taking advantage of the existing high ceiling to add a brand-new 179 sq. ft. walk-in master closet. 🙌

By infilling the existing high ceilings, we’re expanding the nursery into a larger bedroom, adding an entirely new 4th bedroom with a closet, AND creating a new open loft - all without changing the footprint of the home.

The framing is officially complete, and in just a few weeks, this space will be completely transformed. 🏡

What you’re looking at used to be nothing but open ceiling. 👀

By building into the high ceiling above the living and dining room, we transformed this Aliso Viejo home with 225 square feet of brand-new living space, creating a new bedroom and an open loft without expanding the home’s footprint.

Even with the sloped ceiling, we were able to maximize the usable space by using a thinner floor system.
