Our first Safety Stand down of the week was a success! Our team on the Commonwealth Project discussed Monday's topic - Driving Personal Ownership.

"Although the construction industry has extensive safety standards, processes, and procedures in place to keep us safe; serious accidents and dangerous events can occur at any time unless each of us as individuals maintains consistent focus. It’s important that every one of us accepts a greater level of responsibility for our own safety and the safety of others. Personal responsibility for Safety is about all of us, working safely, and caring for the safety of our team members, family, friends and everyone else we come into contact with and
always intervening when we observe unsafe behaviors or conditions. When it comes to safety, whether it be a unsafe condition or behavior, if you see it, you own it, if you walk by it you condone it."

UPDATE: Rancho Cordova Logistics Center
Two concrete tilt-up buildings - 441,618 SF and 275,807 SF
70% COMPLETE

In less than a month pavement will be installed, and the buildings will be painted. All interior fire sprinkler and electrical is complete in the larger building and is 75% complete in the smaller building. Offsite work is underway, and the project is set to be finished mid-March 2024.

JANUARY IS NATIONAL MENTORING MONTH

In 2022 Uprite Construction implemented its first official mentorship program. Since that time, it has played a pivotal role in shaping our employees’ and overall company’s success.

Our mentorship program helps foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous learning within our organization. Mentors are hand picked for mentees by our management committee, ensuring a personalized connection between the pair. This one-on-one guidance goes beyond the traditional task training and focuses on skills and advice for the mentees to thrive in their current roles and develop into future leaders of the company.

Since the program’s inception, feedback from those that have participated has been overwhelmingly positive, from both mentors and mentees. Among the many reasons this program has been found to be successful, none is more important that the strong sense of camaraderie and cohesion among our employees. This program not only enhances mentor and mentee professional development but contributes to a positive and supportive work environment.

As we continue to expand in our existing and new markets, the mentorship program stands as a testament to our dedication to cultivating a workforce that is the driving force behind our success. Shaping the future of our company by investing in the growth, development, and leadership potential of each individual.

"Uprite Construction is pleased to provide drone footage allowing an overview of our project, nearing completion, located at 3130 Fairview, Santa Ana. We have completed the shell and interior of this 77,473 sf speculative ground-up industrial building, with the site improvements wrapping up along with the offsite improvements tracking an end of 1st quarter completion.”
