“When the utility company couldn't provide power to our cabin, I decided to build an off-grid system instead.

I chose a SunGoldPower 10kW inverter, 30kWh of battery storage, and 6.7kW of solar panels. The complete system cost about $11,000, well below the $20,000 budget I originally set for the project.

Today, it powers our HVAC system, water heater, well pump, kitchen appliances, lighting, and other everyday loads.

Like many real-world projects, we experienced a few issues during commissioning. Every time I contacted support, I was able to reach someone who could help. Firmware updates, battery calibration, and a warranty battery replacement were all handled professionally and without hassle.

The system is now performing as expected and has become a reliable source of power for our off-grid cabin. Even on cloudy days, it continues to produce useful power and keep the batteries charged.

“For our mobile dog grooming business, reliable power is essential.

We use a SunGoldPower 5000W inverter with two 48V 100Ah batteries to power our grooming van. The system runs our rooftop A/C, high-velocity dog dryer, water pump, and other onboard equipment throughout the workday.

What stands out most is the system's flexibility. The current setup fully meets our needs, and if additional capacity is required in the future, adding a third battery is simple.

The 5000W inverter handles the startup surge from both the rooftop A/C and the dog dryer without issue. We also appreciate the battery percentage display, which allows us to easily monitor remaining capacity at the end of each day.

Charging is straightforward. We use a 30A charger overnight, and in most cases, only 3–4 hours of charging is needed.
