Labor Day is almost here!

Join us for the Delta County Labor Day Parade and come out to represent Local 1329 alongside fellow union members and their families.

Lineup begins at 11:00 a.m. EST, with the parade kicking off at 12:00 p.m. EST. Please note the change in lineup location this year! We will be meeting at the Karas Bandshell in Ludington Park.

Come early to grab your Local 1329 t-shirt, along with candy and goodies to hand out along the parade route. Bring the family and help us get a great group together to celebrate Labor Day and represent our Local!

We stopped by the Payne & Dolan job site in Kingsford last week to catch up with some of our Local 1329 members hard at work.

The Michigan Laborers are transitioning from WPAS to Wilson McShane as TPA for our Benefit Funds.
Watch for updates coming to you in the mail on this transition and we will have more information coming out for our members through a number of outlets.

Today is , celebrating the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote.
Beyond the ballot box, we work to ensure equality, solidarity, and continue to fight for the women paving the way for the next generation of Laborers.

Last week the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District released their decision on the and issued an initial permit to Enbridge that would authorize regulated activities associated with the Project to begin.
While there was a set back with the project at the State level, this permit considerably advances this necessary project at the Federal level.
The Michigan Laborers stand ready to build the Tunnel which will provide greater protection for the Great Lakes!
