Last week, Bill Atkins and Brandon Humphries represented Pyramid Contracting at Precon World 2026, a national gathering of preconstruction and estimating professionals.

Preconstruction is where projects are won and protected. Accurate estimates, early cost visibility and smart constructability decisions shape everything that follows in the field. Bill and Brandon spent the week with industry peers looking at the latest estimating technology, AI-driven takeoff and cost modeling tools, and new preconstruction workflows.

They're bringing that knowledge home to help our clients get better budget certainty, faster decisions and fewer surprises from design through delivery.

Staying ahead of the industry is how we keep Building Excellence.

We had a great time at the Columbia NAWIC Chapter #113 golf tournament at the Quixote Club this week!

What a beautiful day to support women in construction and being on the green!

Thank you to everyone who made it happen!

Pyramid Contracting spent yesterday at the Clemson University CSM career fair meeting the students who will lead the next generation of commercial, industrial and federal construction across the Southeast.

Brandon Humphries, Shane Perry and Berry Ponder represented our team, joined by 2026 summer interns Carson Rowe, Anderson Bailey and Owen Alexander, who shared what building with Pyramid looks like. Last year's summer intern Grayson Ponder stopped by too, and the Tiger Cub made sure to leave with a Pyramid hat.

Thank you to Clemson CSM for hosting. Building Strong starts with the people we bring onto the team. Go Tigers.
