Had a couple free hours this afternoon so it was a perfect opportunity to get moving on the demo of this staircase down to the water.

Back on site on Thursday to wrap up the demo and transition into Sonotubes and Concrete. Approximately 35 12” Sonotubes will be dug and poured 😵‍💫🔥

Brought back a little curb appeal for these repeat clients on Howe St. Temporary stone walkway and border until the spring.

Primary goal with this project besides curb appeal was to gain access to the sill to repair some rot. A previous contractor had installed the door without addressing the rot. Thankfully we were able to execute and get it squared away before things go worse !

Just needs a little Jason Hovey magic for some railings to bring this project full circle !

Phase 2 entails the walkway and retaining wall makeover ⭐️

Very grateful to have been hired by Agawam Fence to assist on this project. A lot of time behind the scenes went into this project to get it to completion but it was all worth it in end seeing the finished result 🔥

Spillers Lane deck(s)/landing and stairs completed and couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

Clean lines, perfect miters and happy clients. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome !

Drainage & Damp-proofing taking place @ Fordham and then we’ll be framing shortly after 🫡

Love to see the Foundation Crew wearing some CS apparel. Judging by that sweatshirt it looks like he’s ready for some new apparel.

C&H Forms moving along here at Fordham. Rebar tomorrow, Inspection Monday AM and then Concrete later that afternoon.

Stairs, Joist Tape and some blocking on the agenda for tomorrow. !

Excavation complete at Fordham Road ! Hole has been surveyed and next up is foundation footing and walls.

Little bit of grading to do tomorrow to finish off the site work. Look forward to getting back on site to insulate, install drainage and backfill once foundation is done.

Not a bad day of excavation @ Fordham. Trucking the remaining fill out first thing in the am and then back to digging 🚜.

Overdig stakes set, vegetation stripped and were ready to start digging on Monday at Fordham !!

Finished out the day removing a rotted deck. All set to dig sonotubes in the morning 🫡🔥

Day 1 in the books @ the Fordham addition.

Eliminated 3 windows, installed a temporary WRB until post frame and verified 1st/2nd floor frame heights to save time later on.

Some misc things to move including a fireplace, patio and then we’ll be stripping topsoil and getting this one dug. Look forward to seeing some big forward progression here in the next few weeks between excavation and foundation work.

Foundation staked at our Fordham Road Excavation to Finish project which means we are closing in on our highly anticipated start date to give these clients the much needed additional space.

Between scaling down the addition to meet stretch code, obtaining a variance for the septic and a few other hiccups along the way it’s safe to say our clients can’t wait to watch the progress.

Look forward to breaking ground 🚜
