🌳 Sometimes a tree tells you it's time.

This maple had experienced repeated storm damage over the years, with limbs breaking and falling. The final straw came when the last large limb crashed onto the homeowner's garage roof. Thankfully, the damage was limited, but it was a clear sign the tree had become a hazard.

The homeowner decided it was time to have it safely removed before someone got hurt or more property was damaged.

🌳 This large silver maple recently dropped a limb onto this home, causing damage to the roof and gutters. 🏠⚠️

While this was a very large limb, it was actually one of the "smaller" limbs on the tree. Fortunately, it wasn't one of the much larger limbs that could have caused significantly more damage.

Because the backyard was extremely saturated 🌧️, I wasn't able to access the tree from behind the home. Instead, I set up the crane from the front of the house 🏗️, carefully lifted the limb off the roof, and moved it to the front yard where it could be hauled away safely.

Every job presents its own challenges 💪, and this one required a little extra planning to get the limb removed without causing any additional damage to the property. ✅

I'm grateful I was able to help get these homeowners taken care of safely and efficiently.

Another productive day helping out two neighboring homeowners! 💪

The first project involved removing a large maple tree that had developed a significant split in the trunk, causing structural damage and making the tree unsafe to keep standing.

Next there was the removal of a storm-damaged locust and maple tree at the neighboring property. After recent weather events, the homeowners decided removal was the best option for safety and peace of mind.

To finish the job, stump grinding was done for a clean, finished look and to leave both properties ready for their next landscaping plans.

This dying boxelder tree was hanging right over the family’s swingset, making it unsafe for their kids to play under anymore.

As a parent, there’s nothing more important than knowing your children can safely enjoy their own backyard. I was happy to help remove this hazard and give this family peace of mind again.
